Winterberry Chunky Crochet Scarf
The best thing about the super chunky crochet scarf, or any other super chunky crochet project for that matter is that you can make them super quickly 😊), The thing I like a little bit less is working with large hooks – such as the 10mm hook as it always takes me time to adjust.

This super chunky crochet scarf is only made with basic stitches: chains, single crochet and double crochet, so it’s pretty easy to make and a great way to practice your crochet; not to mention it’s an absolutely perfect last-minute crochet gift every girl would love to get! These super chunky yarns seem to be very popular lately.
I made my scarf very long so I can double wrap, but the beauty of this pattern is that you can make it as long or as short as you like, you can make it wider, with or without fringe, and finally you can make it with any yarn and hook you like. Though I think this scarf looks the best with chunky or super chunky yarn, because it’s textured but light, the fabric is not too dense but at the same time it doesn’t have “holes”!ou can check out
About the Yarn
I used Scheepjes Roma Big yarn just because I had it laying there. I bought it on sale once (I knew I was gonna need it : )))). It’s soft and nice to work with.
But if you can’t find this yarn, there’s a great choice of super chunky yarns over at LoveCrafts with similar characteristics, you can use.
I think it would be fun making this super chunky scarf with 2-3 different colored yarns held together.
As long as you have fun and enjoy the process of making, everything is perfect!
