This is one so squishy, warm, soft and ridiculously cozy crochet blanket! It beats the hot water bottle every time! I‘m not sure whether it’s the stitch combination or the lovely tweed yarn… probably both, but I just love this cozy crochet blanket!

This beautiful tweed yarn was the inspiration for this crochet project, as I used it a lot this year.

When people say winter, I immediately get inspired to make something warm 😊.

I don’t know how your winters are, but we have a lot of snow here and it can be really cold and dark. I was born in the middle of the winter but I’m totally a summer person. So creating something nice and snuggly, cozy, soft and bright makes me feel better.

I hope making this sweet, lazy and cozy crochet blanket will make you feel better too!

Just imagine how enjoyable it will be to be snuggled in your sweet, warm blanket, with a book    (a pair of reading glasses if you need one), a nice cup of coffee or a hot chocolate, with the remote close enough to occasionally check if anything’s on – while the wind blows and the snow whirls outside! Wonderful, isn’t it?
